Everyone at New Era Nursery would like to say a very big thank you to all of our parents and children who have collected food and toiletries to donate to the Ronald McDonald house at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.

This charity helps families to stay together by providing free accommodation for those with very sick children.

The collection was arranged by one of our families at the Nursery in loving memory of their son, Casey-Jack.

We are hoping that our gifts will help provide a little relief for parents going through difficult times.

This Spring term we are continuing with our ‘Star’ system where all the children will take turns to be our ‘Star of the Week’.

We are working on booster groups for the children that are going into reception classes in September to help them get ready for school, as well as continuing with the language groups to extend children’s listening and speaking skills.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a member of staff.

Snack time

We ask for £1 for snack money to be paid every Monday or you could bring in some fruit for us to share.

Library

Our library books go out every Friday. Please ensure you bring the book back by then so your child will be able to choose another to take home.

If you have a new mobile / contact number, or have moved house, please don’t forget to let us know in case we need to contact you.
